This pistol-caliber carbine (PCC) is manufactured in Forlì, Italy, by Revo Arms, a young workshop that has made a name for itself by designing firearms for dynamic competitive shooting. It adopts the architecture and ergonomics of the AR-15 platform in a handgun caliber: 9x19mm. You'll find the shooting position, trigger, and controls of an AR, but with virtually no recoil and ammunition that's significantly less expensive than .223.

Functioning

The AR9 operates in semi-automatic mode with a closed bolt, using the blowback principle typical of pistol calibers: a shot is fired with each trigger pull, and the weapon automatically reloads. Its key advantage lies in its ammunition system: the magazine well is designed to accept Glock-type magazines, the most common on the market. This allows you to share your magazines and 9mm ammunition with your pistol, simplifying logistics at the range and in competition. The version offered here comes with a 10-round magazine. The charging handle is a side-mounted, non-reciprocating handle (it does not move with the bolt), and both the magazine release and the charging handle are ambidextrous, allowing for two-handed operation.

The short 8-inch (203 mm) barrel features multi-radial rifling and a proprietary muzzle compensator to minimize muzzle rise between shots. The aluminum handguard is equipped with a full-length M-LOK interface for attaching an angle grip, hand stop, or light, while a continuous Picatinny rail runs along the top of the receiver for mounting a red dot sight or scope. The stock is adjustable to five positions, allowing the rifle's length of pull to be adjusted from 650 to 720 mm to suit your build and posture.
